Woman Gives Birth Inside Internet Cafe, Continues Playing Video Games

A woman who loves to play video games, is making headlines after giving birth at an Internet cafe. The woman of Jiangxi, China, gave birth in the toilet of the Internet cafe and returned to her computer. Worldwideweirdnews reports:

Workers at the Internet cafe in Nanchang, went to the bathroom after hearing a baby crying. They saw a pool of blood near the door.

Workers were concerned about the baby, but soon learned that the mother, who had just given birth, was in the bathroom cradling a newborn. The baby’s umbilical cord was still attached to the mother. Workers rushed to the phone to call an ambulance, but the new mother was relaxed about the whole ordeal. While waiting for the ambulance to take her to the hospital, she returned to her computer to continue playing games.

When the paramedics arrived, she refused to get on the gurney and walked to the ambulance herself. The 24-year-old mother is now recovering in the hospital with her baby.

Senator Faults Maikasuwa Over NASS Elections

A member of the Unity Forum, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has accused the clerk of the National Assembly (CNA) of fraud for his actions during the June 9 Senate elections that produced Senator Bukola Saraki as president of the 8th Senate. According to him, the CNA amended the Senate Standing Order without the knowledge of the senators, thereby changing the Standing Rule of the Senate – that for any presiding officer to emerge, he must score two-thirds votes of the number of the senators, and not one-third as the CNA stated before the said election.
