Why Uti Begged Jim Iyke

Following the inciting joke Uti Nwachukwu had made on his TV show, JARA, last weekend, about Jim Iyke’s failed relationship with Nadia Buari, the actor has not taken it well. Apparently the joke has put Uti in Jim’s wrong books, as one of Jim’s aides went online saying, Jim was angry about what was said and planned to confront Uti whenever he sees him.

Consequently, the talk show host and actor Uti Nwachukwu quickly took to his instagram page on Tuesday evening to apologize to Jim Iyke over the comments he made on air.

Uti’s apology reads, “My sincere apologies to one of the greatest Nollywood icons of our time. I’m sincerely and deeply sorry for the insensitive jokes made. As one of my favorite and most respected actors I will never set out to intentionally disrespect you brother. Using the insert from Jara was my own friendly way of reaching out and once again I’m sorry for being insensitive especially at the special period. Rest assured it won’t happen again. Please accept my unreserved apologies. Like I said, you are one of the few that actually inspire and motivate people like me to be better and work harder. Abeg nor too vex for me bro. I Troway salute”

The story however does not end there. There are indications that Africa Magic in turn is not happy with Uti’s apology. According to an insider, the remarks Uti made on the show is part of the script he was given to read out on the show. And if Jim has any problem with it, he should channel it to Africa Magic. Uti appologising the source says, is a slap on Africa Magic’s face.

Senator Faults Maikasuwa Over NASS Elections

A member of the Unity Forum, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has accused the clerk of the National Assembly (CNA) of fraud for his actions during the June 9 Senate elections that produced Senator Bukola Saraki as president of the 8th Senate. According to him, the CNA amended the Senate Standing Order without the knowledge of the senators, thereby changing the Standing Rule of the Senate – that for any presiding officer to emerge, he must score two-thirds votes of the number of the senators, and not one-third as the CNA stated before the said election. Marafa, who spoke in Abuja yesterday, alleged that the amended Senate Standing Order used in the June 9 inauguration of presiding officers was not known to him and that he was not aware of any amendment of the Standing Rule by the 7th Senate, and whoever must have amended the rules without the knowledge of the senators must be prosecuted. He said, “Senate Amended Rule 2015 is a fraud; the person who did it has to be brought to book. ...

7 Signs Of Cervical Cancer That Women Need To Observe

For women, cervical or cervix cancer can be deadly. While statistics about this cancer is frightening, cervical cancer can be prevented, and treated if caught early. Cervical cancer is most commonly caused by HPV or the human papillomavirus, which is highly contagious. This virus is an STI (sexually transmitted infection) and comes in many types but only some cause cervical cancer. An HPV infection might go away on its own or could cause abnormal cell growth that may lead to cervical cancer. The signs for cervical cancer may not be as obvious or apparent as chest cancer but there are ways to observe the signs. Contact a gynecologist immediately if you notice: 1. Unusual discharge When the cancer begins to grow inside the cervix, the cells of the uterine wall begin to rid, which produces a watery discharge. 2. Warts According to gynecologist Rosa Maria Leme, “The appearance of small warts (externally or internally) serve as a red flag…diseases such as HPV, which can greatly...
